Dior Launches Art Deco-Inspired Godron Tableware Collection
Cordelia de Castellane, artistic director of Dior Maison, reinvents the Godron classic motifs for the latest tableware collection. The vibrant world of Art Deco influenced the pieces that come with a modern twist. Cordelia takes much of her inspiration from the great archive of the French fashion house, a bountiful source of thousands of luxurious items spanning from 1947 to the present day.
She brings back the classic Godron motif from the Dior Maison archives, an unfussy, simple design combining rows of grooved lines. The Dior tableware collection includes plates, trays, vases, bowls, platters, dishes, and more, all adorned in blue lines interrupted by hatched rectangles in white, blue, and gold, as Wallpaper states.
