Zeplyn Launches AI Advisor Coaching for Wealth Firms

Zeplyn, which provides an AI operating system for wealth management firms has launched Advisor Coaching, a capability that automatically evaluates and scores advisor-client conversations and delivers actionable feedback without requiring managers to review transcripts manually.

The capability, now available at the organizational level for Zeplyn customers, analyzes client conversations against a customizable scoring rubric and rates each meeting against the firm’s success criteria, according to the company.

Zeplyn, which launched in stealth in 2022, publicly rolled out its core AI-driven meeting assistant and announced a $3 million seed round of funding in November 2024.

The new coaching features are part of Zeplyn’s overall roadmap to add automated analysis that runs off its AI operating system model.

In an interview with Wealth Management at the T3 conference in March, Zeplyn CEO Era Jain said that her firm would continue to add new native AI features to its platform.

“AI notetaking was never our end goal, notetaking for us is not a product it is just a feature—building out an OS and orchestration layer that can power many things has always been our end goal,” she said.

Advisor Coaching is the latest addition.

“Wealth management firms have always known that consistent advisor performance drives client trust and retention, but they’ve never had a scalable way to measure it,” said Jain, in a statement announcing the coaching rollout.

Advisor Coaching surfaces coaching tips tied to specific moments in conversations, and managers can use Ask Zeplyn, powered by Zeplyn Agent Nexus, to pull firm-wide performance reports across any date range, advisor or team.

In addition, advisors can use Ask Zeplyn to build personality profiles for specific clients using intelligence from meeting notes and emails.

The platform also enables advisors to role-play difficult conversations with the AI taking on a client’s persona, and it then will request feedback. A downloadable cheat sheet in preparation for the real meeting can also be generated.

Advisor Coaching is available now to Zeplyn customers.

Zeplyn is priced on a per-seat basis, starting at $120 per month per advisor seat, which includes Zeplyn Meeting Assistant; per-meeting features such as scores against a firmwide rubric and advisor coaching tips for individual meeting conversations will be a part of Zeplyn Meeting Assistant.

Agentic capabilities, including managerial performance reports, insights, and AI roleplays are included with Zeplyn Agent Nexus as an upgrade starting at $195 per month per advisor seat (non-advisor seats are also available at lower rates according to the company). Enterprise pricing is flexible and scales based on deployment model, integration needs, volume, and firm size.

FinTurk advisor CRM launches two new sets of features

Another new advisor-built, advisor-specific, AI-driven, AI-native CRM platform launched in May, called FinTurk.

This week the company announced launch of FormFiller and CashSweep, two new workflow automation tools.

FormFiller is meant to streamline the account opening and servicing process by automatically populating client forms with data stored in the CRM, routing documents for electronic signature and filing completed paperwork back into the client record.

The intention with CashSweep is to alleviate the manual process of cash management by identifying and allocating excess client cash across investment vehicles. It leaves full control over the allocation parameters to the advisor but is meant to automate the process, simplify billing workflows.

We have yet to delve into the underlying technology and lack knowledge of which LLMs or third-party technology has been used to build the platform; more to follow on that.

Nonetheless, FinTurk, which was founded by advisor Mitchell Bratina of Chicago Partners Wealth Advisors, joins a long line of RIA-built or inspired or re-invented CRM systems dating back to Junxure in the 1990s with more recent entrants including Lifeworks, Slant, Compound Planning, and Advisor CRM, among others.
