Veteran Advisor Duo Managing $316M In Indiana Leaves Stifel For Raymond James

A duo of veteran financial advisors in Lafayette, Ind., have left Stifel, where they managed $316 million in client assets, to join Raymond James’s employee advisor channel.

Advisors Michael Rose and Scott Gillespie, operating as Pathway Advisory Group of Raymond James, migrated to Raymond James & Associates in May, according to a Raymond James news release and BrokerCheck.

Supported by senior registered service associate Patty Horner, the advisors provide financial planning and guidance to individuals, families and small business owners with a focus on multi-generational wealth planning, retirement and education strategies.

“Raymond James provides our team with the culture, succession planning and local leadership to support the long-term growth of our clients and our practice,” Rose, first vice president of investments, said in the release. “We appreciate the firm’s people-first approach and the resources that help us work together effectively while staying focused on the families we serve.”

Rose has been in the financial services industry for 25 years and left Stifel after nine years, as did his partner Gillespie, who began his career in 2000.

Since reporting record third-quarter earnings last month, St. Petersburg, Fla.-based Raymond James has been announcing a series of big advisor recruitment wins.

Last week, the firm said that a quartet of veteran financial advisors in Cranberry Township, Pa., who managed about $1.1 billion in assets left Robert W. Baird to jump to Raymond James & Associates.
