US family office and advisory giant GRF enters Canadian market

“GRF brings added resources, scale, and infrastructure that lets us refocus time from running and managing the business, to creating value and providing excellent service for our clients,” she said.

GRF deepens North American footprint

For GRF, the Canadian acquisition represents a logical extension of its existing client relationships.

Tyson Beem, chief executive of GRF, said the two firms had already collaborated on mutual clients for several years before formalising a partnership. “GRF and Danyliw & Mann have built respect and admiration for one another from several years of working together on mutual clients,” Beem said.

GRF currently employs more than 700 staff across approximately 40 managing directors, with existing offices in Los Angeles, Encino, San Rafael, Wilmington, Needham, New York, White Plains, Nashville, and London.

Travis Danysh, chief strategy officer at Focus Financial Partners, said the acquisition reinforces the network’s positioning in the global business management space.
