Tikehau Capital has appointed Piero Migliorini as head of private equity Italy, effective October 1.
Migliorini joins from Neuberger Berman, where he was a managing director. He has also previously served as partner at Aurora Growth Capital.
During his career, he has developed extensive experience in growth investments in Italian small and mid-sized companies, as well as in active portfolio company management and board-level responsibilities. Prior to Neuberger Berman and Aurora Growth Capital, he was an investment manager at Fondo Italiano d’Investimento.
Migliorini’s appointment further enhances Tikehau Capital’s investment capabilities in Italy,
combining his deep knowledge of the country’s entrepreneurial ecosystem with the Group’s
global platform, sector expertise and long-term investment approach, according to a statement.
To further reinforce the local leadership structure, Martino Mauroner, currently deputy head
private debt and Head of private debt Italy, has been appointed co-head of Italy alongside
Daniele Germano, co-head of Italy and head of sales Italy. Mauroner will continue to lead
Tikehau Capital’s private debt activities in Italy and internationally as deputy head, while
taking on broader country leadership responsibilities.
