This $80 Side Table From Target Looks Like A High-End Buy
Furnishing a small space is something I am very familiar with, having moved around New York, living in apartments where the character is high but the square footage is low. So I am always on the hunt for compact pieces that look good but work hard too. When space is tight, you can rarely choose form over function.
Target’s Octagon Side Table is my most recent find that fits the bill. It’s a new arrival from Threshold’s fall drop; one that instantly caught my eye. Its sleek, octagonal shape and its dark wood grain give it a mid-century modern flair and make it look like a luxury find – like something that would cost you triple at a designer furniture store or vintage shop. After falling for the aesthetics, I was happy to find it ticks the functional box too, with plenty of storage that could work in many small rooms – a chic home bar in a kitchen, a sideboard in a living room or a bedside table.
