The Refresh: 5 Updates for an Improved Home Office
Our home office nook has been largely overlooked since we first moved in—4 years ago. We threw a desk down there, a decent chair, and voilà: an office. But the lack of intention has left the room feeling like a desk in a stock room. Looking ahead to the upcoming season, I’m ready to make things better. Here’s one small favorite accessory I have and five things I’m eyeing for a full upgrade.

Above: I’ve had my eye on this Corn Rug from Cold Picnic. I love a single-color tufted wool rug and while this deep yellow really appeals to me, I haven’t had the gumption to bring it into major zones in the house. The office might be just right; $610 for the 4-by-6-foot size at Cold Picnic.
