The Plastic-Free Food Storage Upgrade Your Kitchen Needs

Glass food containers are non-negotiable in my kitchen. After writing about non-toxic living for nearly three years, I’ve read enough about BPA and other chemicals used in some plastics to make glass my default choice for storing leftovers and meal prep.

The problem is that many glass containers still rely on plastic (or, at best, bamboo) lids, which often aren’t microwave-safe and can’t be placed on hot food straight away. It is hardly ideal, and somewhat defeats the purpose of making the switch to create a non-toxic home.
