  • Platform has generated quality data across thousands of brands to power predictive AI tools
  • Resurgens to help accelerate Qarma’s AI roadmap and international expansion
  • Co-founders Jacob Nedergaard and Søren Mønsted remain in place as CEO and CTO

Resurgens Technology Partners, a software-focused private equity firm, has announced an investment in Qarma, a provider of AI-powered quality and compliance software for brands, retailers and manufacturers managing global supply chains.

Founded in 2016 and based in Aarhus, Denmark, Qarma connects quality and compliance teams, sourcing professionals, suppliers and inspectors on a single platform. The company bills itself as a leading global provider of quality and compliance software for customers in furniture and home, apparel, consumer goods and electronics.

Qarma’s platform combines standardized workflows with software built for use on factory floors, generating quality data across thousands of brands. That data set now underpins the company’s AI capabilities, which the company says are helping customers shift from reactive quality control to predictive and preventive quality management. Qarma also draws on its supply chain expertise to offer supplier and product compliance tools, bringing quality management, audits and compliance into one platform.

Resurgens will work alongside Qarma’s management team to accelerate the company’s AI roadmap and expand its presence in North America, Europe and Asia.

Jacob Nedergaard, co-founder and chief executive officer, and Søren Mønsted, co-founder and chief technology officer, will continue to lead Qarma.

“Qarma has built a deep platform that doesn’t just provide visibility to management. It works where quality is created, on production lines and inside supplier operations around the world. That operational depth, combined with a unique data set and AI capabilities, creates a strong foundation for the next generation of quality management,” said Adi Filipovic, co-founder and managing director at Resurgens Technology Partners. “By bringing quality inspections, supplier audits, and product compliance into a single system, Qarma helps customers manage increasingly complex supply chains while delivering clear operational value…”

Rothschild served as exclusive financial adviser to Qarma. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
