Mill Point Capital has hired Mike Kaplan as a managing partner, adding more than 25 years of private equity investing experience to its leadership team.
Kaplan joins from Littlejohn & Co., a middle-market private equity firm, where he spent over 20 years as a managing director and member of the investment committee, overseeing investments, leading deal teams and serving on portfolio company boards. Before Littlejohn, he worked at Ripplewood Holdings on domestic and international private equity investments. He started his career as an attorney at Cravath, Swaine & Moore advising on corporate transactions, and earlier still as an analyst at Bear Stearns.
At Mill Point, Kaplan will focus on sourcing new investment opportunities, leading transaction execution and partnering with portfolio company management to accelerate growth and operating performance.
