It is hard to find a Los Angeles home that balances strong architecture with its natural setting, as well as Michael B. Jordan’s former residence.
Set behind private gates on Upper Nichols Canyon’s Celebrity Row, the 4,910-square-foot estate sits on just over an acre of hillside. Architect Jeffrey Mills originally designed the house in 1997, giving it a strong presence while making the most of its secluded setting. Now, the property is on the market for $14 million.

Elsewhere, the terraced garden includes a Jacuzzi, fire-pit lounge, outdoor kitchen, statement fountain, and stepped waterfall.
The garden is closely tied to the architecture, with each area designed for a specific purpose. From the mirrored sauna to the stepped terraces, the landscape extends the home’s material language beyond its walls.
