Klipsch Releases Reference Premiere III Series of Loudspeakers
Following the release of the limited-edition Klipschorn loudspeaker to celebrate its 80th anniversary, Klipsch has launched a new Reference Premiere (RP) III series of loudspeakers at Audio Advice Live 2026. The lineup comprises nine passive loudspeakers, all featuring advanced acoustics and refined design to meet the needs of today’s consumers.
The company wants to give more options to bring Klipsch’s legendary sound to music lovers and home-theater enthusiasts. The collection includes Dolby Atmos-integrated RP-8263FA, RP-8020F, and RP-6203F floorstanding speakers, RP-6103M and RP-5103M bookshelf speakers, RP-5203C and RP-5403C center-channel speakers, and RP-5203S and RP-5103SA Dolby Atmos-enabled surround speakers.
The two-way speaker design format is retained across the Klipsch Reference Premiere III Series, but the acoustic components have been updated. The speakers now feature a new high-density axial Tractrix horn tweeter with upgraded BMC material to reduce resonance. The tweeter is flush-mounted on the cabinet to minimize wave breakup and improve off-axis response for a more consistent listening experience in a wider seating area.
The loudspeakers continue to use Klipsch’s signature copper Cerametallic woofers to deliver powerful, controlled bass. The cabinets are available in Ebony and Walnut finishes, now with knife-edge construction for improved structural rigidity while ensuring a contemporary appearance. Furthermore, the floorstanding models come with new metal outrigging feet that improve stability and reduce cabinet resonance. The floating fabric grilles and redesigned rear panels complete the final look.
The RP III series also supports Dolby Atmos home theater configurations. The flagship RP-8263FA floorstanding speaker includes upward-firing height speakers, allowing you to add overhead effects without installing separate Atmos modules. Likewise, the RP-5103SA model can be placed on top of compatible bookshelf or floorstanding speakers as an elevation module or mounted on a wall to serve as surround or height channel.

If you want even more low-frequency performance, the series can be paired with Klipsch Reference Premiere Subwoofers. They now come with a choice of compact sealed or full-size ported models to meet varied needs of audiophiles. Klipsch’s Reference Premiere speakers also pair with compatible Onkyo A/V receivers through the Klipsch Optimized Mode. This feature automatically applies crossover settings to selected models to get the most from their systems.
The Reference Premiere III Series is slated to be available from October 2026. The pricing starts from $799.99 for each RP-6203F Floorstanding Speaker, $549.99 for a pair of RP-5103M Bookshelf Speakers, $449 for each RP-5403C Center Channel Speaker, and $649.99 for a pair of RP-5103SA Dolby Atmos Surround Speakers.
