JMGO has finally announced the global launch of its IRIS series of 4K projectors, with the IRIS Ultra Max model as the core highlight. Debuting at IFA 2026, the IRIS Ultra Max is marketed as the world’s first single-chip DLP projector to deliver 4K resolution with a 120Hz refresh rate. Following its successful launch in China earlier this year, the brand is expanding its high-refresh projection technology to the global market.
The IRIS Ultra Max 4K projector uses JMGO’s latest MALC 6.0 Triple-Laser Engine to deliver cinema-grade image quality with a balanced combination of brightness, contrast and color reproduction. It delivers up to 6,500 ISO lumens of brightness and 10,000:1 native contrast ratio, making it suitable for viewing in brightly lit rooms.
For even more convenience, you can choose from six adjustment levels to adapt brightness and contrast depending on the content being viewed and the surrounding environment. JMGO’s AI DBL technology further enhances detail in darker scenes while also maintaining natural-looking skin tones and facial textures. IRIS Ultra Max reaches approximately 110 percent of the BT.2020 color gamut and is rated at around ΔE 0.7 color accuracy. It also utilizes Anti-RBE technology to reduce visible rainbow artifacts.
The projector features a dual-DLP architecture to improve brightness, while the HyperPulse Actuator operating at up to 480 shifts per second helps the projector maintain 4K image quality with high-refresh-rate content. Additionally, the dual-IRIS system with a 15-blade configuration improves stray-light suppression and strengthens contrast.
There are more gaming-dedicated features. The 4K projector includes VRR and ALLM support, allowing you to run compatible games at up to 120 frames per second. It also supports Dolby Vision at 4K@120Hz, while MEMC technology helps improve clarity during fast-moving movie scenes, sports events, and camera movements.
The flagship IRIS Ultra Max comes with a 3-in-1 optical system that combines a 0.88-1.7:1 optical zoom, four-way lens shift and an AI-powered gimbal. The lens-shift system supports vertical adjustment of up to ±130 percent and horizontal adjustment of up to ±53 percent, allowing users to reposition the image without using digital correction.

The IRIS Ultra Max projector retains the looks of the earlier N3 Ultimate model. The motorized AI-powered gimbal is a useful feature as it allows 360-degree horizontal movement and 150-degree tilting. This gives homeowners additional freedom when setting up the projector.
JMGO has also incorporated AI-assisted installation tools. First is AI Screen Fitting that automatically adjusts the projected image to match the screen, while AI Spatial Image Memory can remember different projection positions and associated applications. This prevents users from the tedious manual recalibration usually required when moving or setting up a projector in different rooms.
