What can be made from a single sheet of steel? Apparently, iconic pieces of furniture and lighting that became the focal point of your room. To prove this, Indian designer Vidushi Gupta has made her debut at Shoreditch Design Week 2026 with the limited-edition Fragments home collection. Fragments features a console table, a floor lamp, and a hanging light, each embracing the beauty of imperfection, showcasing contemporary design while leaving the raw traces of craftsmanship.
“Fragments explores the beauty found in rupture, reconstruction, and imperfection. Created from a single sheet of steel, each piece is hand-cut, welded, and reassembled, preserving every jagged edge, incision, and trace of making,” Vidushi informed Homecrux.
Each piece is handcrafted using precision steel cutting and advanced welding techniques, making every object unique. When the steel shapes are cut out, the leftover scraps are saved to fill the space and create a new artwork. This way, nothing goes to waste while making this collection, not even off-cuts.
Describing the collection, Vidushi explains that instead of hiding the visible scars, she keeps them on purpose to show the history of how each item was made. Through sculptural forms, the collection challenges conventional ideas of perfection and celebrates transformation, fragility, and strength.
Measuring 49 inches wide, 22 inches deep, and 29 inches high, the Fragments console table is made from raw and broken pieces of metal. Its unique shape is formed by an oval top surface and jagged-edged legs that fit together perfectly. The design makes the table look like it is moving, while proudly flaunting the raw details.
The Fragments floor lamp will light up your living room or entryway in a unique way, with its fractured metallic facets taking a focal point. Measuring 27 inches wide, 24 inches deep, and 60 inches high, this piece is a perfect balance between utility and sculptural expression.

The Fragments hanging lamp has the same material and visual presence as the floor lamp; the only difference is dimensions and structural proportion. Measuring 60 inches long, 15 inches wide, and 12 inches high, it has a broad, floating shape that reveals the construction through overlapping planes and irregular contours.
Transforming the raw strength of industrial steel into elegant, modern art, Vidushi ensures that every corner of your space tells a story of craftsmanship while embracing the idea of imperfection. It is the first public presentation of Fragments.
