The reason why RRC Athens is the US’s most sought-after Park Model dealer is that it not only sells tiny homes but also turns these dwellings into luxurious, highly functional mini-residences through clever architectural layouts and upscale residential finishes. A case in point is the company’s recent creation, the Donnybrook tiny house, designed by Champion Homes.
The tiny house measures 54 feet long and 15.2 feet wide. The 8-foot porch offers space to sit and relax, while the remaining 46 feet cater to a single-level dwelling, featuring a spacious living room, a gourmet kitchen, a capacious bedroom, and a functional bathroom. Overall, the Donnybreak tiny house offers 698 square feet of space.
Construction relies on a wood-framed structure with 2×4 studs spaced 16 inches on center, exterior siding built to last, a galvalume metal roof, and half-inch interior sheetrock walls. A full-glass door opens into an interior where the kitchen and living room share a cohesive open space.
The extra width gives the layout room for a sofa, a pouf, and a center table, arranged to face a console table against the opposite wall. Dwellers who want more can mount a TV above that console to turn the spot into a proper entertainment center. The rest of the living room stays open, leaving space to move around freely.
The kitchen sits just off the living room, outfitted with cabinets and countertop space for appliances and everyday items. A pantry and floating shelves handle storage, with the shelves also serving as décor. At the center of it all is an island that also works as a dining table, seating six with room to spare and offering built-in storage underneath.

A pair of pendant lights hangs above the dining area, lighting the space while adding some visual interest. Like most park models built today, the Donnybrook comes equipped with an oven, range hood, dishwasher, refrigerator, and microwave. The tiny house is outfitted with windows that run throughout the home, letting in enough light and air to keep the interior bright.
A narrow galley connects the living space to the bedroom, passing the bathroom along the way. The bathroom splits into two sections. One holds a toilet, a glass-enclosed shower, and a vanity, while the other is set aside for the washer, dryer, and utility hookups. The bedroom is positioned at the rear of the home. The main-floor bedroom sleeps a couple and comes with a built-in closet. The Donnybreak tiny house relies on a standard RV-style hookup.
