Cinven to acquires software firm Salsify

Cinven has agreed to acquire Salsify, a Boston-based provider of product experience management software solutions. No financial terms were disclosed.

Salsify’s global operations span North America, Europe, and Australia. Salsify has established a network of more than 2,000 customers.

On the transaction, Daniel Garin, a partner at Cinven, and John Cuyulis, senior principal at Cinven, said in a statement, “We are delighted to announce the Cinven funds’ investment in Salsify, a business that exemplifies the qualities we seek in a transformative software investment, including a large and growing addressable market, a highly differentiated platform, and outstanding customer loyalty, all translating into a best-in-class financial profile. Piyush Chaudhari serves as CEO of Salsify.

Moelis & Company LLC served as financial advisor to Salsify.
