Bridgepoint signs deal for majority stake in Danish defense company UMag
- Founder-led company was spun out of the Technical University of Denmark in 2018 and is based in Birkerød, with founders remaining significant shareholders and continuing to lead the business
- Deal will fund international expansion, R&D and commercialization of next-generation products as European defense spending and military modernization accelerate
- Investment builds on Bridgepoint’s earlier defense technology backing, including stakes in MyDefence and Comrod
Bridgepoint has agreed to invest in UMag Solutions, a Danish defense technology company specializing in drone-based, real-time subsurface threat detection.
