Brickle LEGO Storage Unit Sorts Your LEGOs for You

Inside the huge LEGO world, there is something available for everyone, whether you are a football fan, a Hannah Montana fan, or want to decorate during the holidays. With the recent fungi-themed collection, you won’t need to get out of the house to touch some grass. But when not structured, where do you keep the little bricks and pieces? Scattered around and then crying out of pain because you accidentally stepped on them?

There is an elegant storage solution for that. The handcrafted Brickle storage unit promises to keep all your favorite LEGO bricks in place. Developed in Wales by the Newland brothers, the LEGO bricks sorter swaps standard plastic bins where the bricks otherwise go for a handsome, high-end plan chest aesthetic.

The storage unit features four drawers and a top shelf and includes either three or five rectangular slots that let you throw your LEGOs inside. The internal mechanism is where the actual game is. The topmost drawer features compartments of various sizes that keep all the key pieces or minifigures in place. Of the remaining three drawers, the upper two feature differently sized holes that let the smaller pieces filter through and reach the lower drawers, arranging them according to their size.

This way, the lowest drawer holds the smallest pieces, the drawer above holds the medium-sized, and so on. So, you play on top of the drawer, store the key pieces in the top-most drawer, and push all the other pieces inside the unit. Once done, give the unit a little shake and just like that, all your pieces are in place.

The units of the piece are made from FSC-certified birch plywood with options for natural oak veneer, cream, or black finishes. The piece is available in two units: small and regular. The smaller ‘Bach’ unit measures 65cm deep, 63 cm wide, and 56cm high while weighing 40 kg, becoming home to approximately 9 kg of LEGOs. The regular unit features the same depth and height but is 100 cm wide and weighs 56 kg, storing up to 15 kg of LEGOs.

Brickle storage comes with a matching set of shelves that can be placed on the upper level for a better display of the art you create. There is also an option for stacking stools for those who would like. Retailing at $2,480, you can get the unit in custom colors. So, no more painful stepping-on-bricks moments, losing pieces, or just throwing them away after a single use.
