At IFA 2026, BenQ showcased its new home entertainment solutions, including the TK715i model, designed to expand entertainment possibilities in bright living rooms. Powered by a true RGB triple-laser light source, this 4K UHD smart home entertainment projector delivers 3,200 lumens of brightness for sharp image quality even during the day. It is clearly intended for gaming and everyday entertainment.
The TK715i RGB triple-laser projector is claimed to offer a higher native contrast and improved image dynamics to match the high brightness levels. BenQ has not revealed specifications yet, so there is no specific value to compare contrast quality. However, the technical data sheet shown at IFA mentions a dynamic contrast of 1.000.000:1, according to Heimkinowelten. BenQ also highlights its four-layer De-Speckle technology, which helps optimize the picture quality.
Switching to RGB lasers brings another benefit of a significantly larger color gamut, which BenQ’s Datasheet says reaches 99 percent DCI-P3, but there is no official confirmation yet. The projector also relies upon CinematicColor for natural color reproduction.
Setting up the projector is easy, thanks to an 8-way Smart Image Adaptation system. As soon as you place the unit down and turn it on, these automated tools, including Auto Focus, Auto 2D Keystone, Auto Screen Fit, Auto Obstacle Avoidance, Auto Cinema Mode, Auto Eye Protection, and ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode), work to optimize the picture size and quality automatically.
Furthermore, the projector boasts a 1.43x optical zoom that can initially be used for lossless size adjustment, followed by digital fine-tuning. This lets you change the picture size without physically picking up and moving the projector.
The built-in MEMC technology eliminates motion blur, and a dedicated Sports Mode optimizes color for life-like turf and action. Currently, it is said to support HDR formats like Dolby Vision and HDR10+, and support IMAX Enhanced as well.

With built-in Google TV, TK715i gives you instant access to Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, and more. It is also supposed to support Google Gemini and the Matter platform for extended connectivity across different smart home platforms.
Powered by HDMI 2.1, ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode), and 5 ms input lag at 4K/60Hz, the BenQ TK715i 4K projector is also suitable for gaming. A specialized Game Mode optimizes visuals for richer contrast, depth, and cinematic detail. For external device connectivity, it includes two HDMI 2.1 inputs, USB-A with audio support, and a USB-C port with up to 30 watts of Power Delivery.
If you want to buy it, the BenQ TK715i 4K projector is slated for release in early 2027, with an expected price of around €1,500 (approximately $1,750).
