Home security brand Lorex has refreshed its smart home security lineup, bringing all four of its wireless offerings under one roof. Dubbed the Lorex Connect ecosystem, the lineup includes four models: Lorex Connect 2K Indoor Wi-Fi Camera, Lorex Connect 2K Wi-Fi Battery-Powered Camera, Lorex Connect 2K Floodlight Wi-Fi Camera, and Lorex Connect 2K Dual-Lens Indoor Pan-Tilt Wi-Fi Camera.
Each camera is built around a different use case, spanning a floodlight, two indoor cameras, and one outdoor battery camera, with prices ranging from $29.99 to $89.99. Every camera runs 2K (4MP) resolution and connects through the newer Lorex Connect app, which appears to be the brand’s AI-forward answer to Nest and Ring. It trades some upkeep (eventual recharging) for easy installation, making it ideal for renters or anyone hesitant to drill into siding.
