Tour Tay and Taylor Lautner’s Classic Nursery

The three words Tay Lautner would use to describe her and husband Taylor Lautner’s new nursery are ‘girly,’ ‘colorful’ and ‘peaceful.’ Though the space is whimsical enough to appeal to an infant’s developing brain, the room’s energy is serene enough to feel like a sanctuary in the midst of new parents’ busy lives.

Tay designed her dream nursery alongside the team at Pottery Barn Kids, combining floral patterns, ruffles and whimsical butterfly accents with timeless, functional furniture. From the convertible crib that transitions into a toddler bed to the glider chair, every element of the room is created to grow with the child, and the parents. Design and comfort go hand in hand.

‘I wanted to bring in all of the frills and the patterns and give it that classic feel,’ says Tay.

As design obsessives, one of our favorite details of Tay and Taylor’s space is all of the clever nursery storage ideas. From the adorable rattan scalloped bins to the drawer sets, there is enough space to store diapers now, and toys as their child gets older.
