I love a latte, especially over ice! I’ve been spending lots of time in the Starbucks drive thru lately picking up this delicious treat, so I decided it was time to figure out how to make a Brown Sugar Oat Milk Shaken Espresso Latte myself! I cannot tell you how delicious this iced latte is…it’s literally Heaven in a cup! It’s so easy to make this latte at home yourself, and it’s sure to impress your friends!

How to Make Brown Sugar Syrup
Time needed: 5 minutes
How to Make Brown Sugar Syrup
- Gather ingredients.
¼ cup water
¼ cup brown sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cinnamon stick

- Combine ingredients in a small pot.
Add the water, brown sugar, vanilla extract and cinnamon to a small pot and bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.


- Cook for until the sugar has dissolved and thickened.
Cook for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently, until the brown sugar has dissolved and thickened a bit.
- Remove from heat and transfer to a jar.


How to Make a Brown Sugar Oat Milk Shaken Espresso Latte
Once you’ve gotten the brown sugar syrup, making the latte is super easy.
- Fill a shaker or jar with 1 cup of ice.
- Add 1 shot of espresso and shake vigorously.
- Fill a glass with the remaining cup of ice.
- Pour the latte mixture over the ice.
- Top off with ½ cup of oat milk.
- Enjoy!


This decadent latte can be enjoyed year round!

Ingredients
For the Brown Sugar Syrup
- ¼ cup water
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cinnamon stick
For the Shaken Espresso
- 1 shot of espresso
- 2 tablespoon brown sugar syrup
- ½ cup oat milk
- 2 cups ice
Instructions

Prepare the brown sugar syrup. Add water, brown sugar, vanilla extract and cinnamon stick to a small pot and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring often, until the brown sugar has dissolved and thickened. Remove from heat and carefully transfer to a jar.

Once you are ready to prepare the latte, fill a shaker with 1 cup of ice.

Add the espresso and brown sugar syrup and shake vigorously.
