Pokémon fans now have something new to add to their collection, as Target is ready to stock LEGO’s latest lineup. LEGO has taken the Pokémon collection to a whole new level with 12 new LEGO Pokémon Smart Play sets. It is more than just brick building. With the new smart sets, fans can feel like Pokémon trainers, and their beloved LEGO Pokémon will respond, thanks to LEGO Pokémon Smart Play technology.
You can experience and interact with their most lovable Pokémon, including Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle, Gengar, and more. Feed them with SMART tags and tickle them to receive a cheerful laugh. “For the first time ever, LEGO Pokémon creatures respond to children’s actions that encourages creativity and storytelling,” said Julia Goldin, Chief Marketing and Product Officer at the LEGO Group.
The two LEGO SMART Play All-in-One sets include LEGO SMART Brick, SMART Charger, and LEGO SMART Tag for the SMART Play Experience. The other ten LEGO SMART Play Compatible sets include one or two SMART Tags but no SMART Brick (you can buy it separately if you want); these are made to expand the experience and adventure of the Pokémon world. The sets are now also available for purchase through LEGO’s official site and Target, giving fans a chance to collect the sets.
Berry Bash With Bulbasaur and Bidoof
Kids can roleplay as a Pokémon trainer and feed them a berry smoothie to their hungry Pokémon. The set comes with the two beloved Pokémon: Bulbasaur and Bidoof.
Trainer’s Buggy Adventure With Squirtle
You can take the Squirtle for a lovely ride in the buggy vehicle, which has 2 water stud shooters and a storage compartment. You can also enjoy the Pokémon’s reaction to the joyful ride with the help of Smart Brick (not included).

Charmander and Geodude’s Cavern Clash
You can make a cave scene where Charmander explores, and Geodude spins around, throwing rocks and using a disc shooter. After adding the Smart Brick, you can see them react with sound and lights.
Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly Battle 72158
You can make your own story with Paldean First Partner Pokémon. Each Pokémon has its own type; Sprigatito is grass type, Fuecoco is fire type, and Quaxly is water type.
Jigglypuff Concert
This set shows the love of this Pokémon for the music. It includes two speakers and a microphone. You can create an imaginary concert and enjoy the voices of Pokémon with the help of a smart tag and brick (not included).
Drone Search for Mythical Mew
You can use the radar to find the LEGO Mew with the help of a drone to search the ancient ruin of hidden Mew.
Eevee and Lapras’s Treasure Hunt
It includes two cute characters: Eevee with an adjustable tail and ears and the large Lapras with moving flippers, which go on a treasure hunt.
Mewtwo’s Lab Break
It has one Pokémon character and a smart tag. You can create a scene where the Mewtwo figure breaks out of the tank and uses its psychic powers to escape.
Umbreon vs. Garchomp Championship Battle
You can make an exciting battle scene and hold a competition between two Pokémon with your friends.
Cubone and Gengar’s Spooky Showdown
This set has two characters, 782 pieces of LEGO, and is made for fans aged eight and up. You can make a battleground in which both Pokémon try to defeat each other to find the treasure underneath.
Training House With Pikachu
This set has everything to call it a SMART package, including a Pokémon figure, a smart brick, a smart charger, and four smart tags. It has a Pikachu-inspired tree house, training items, buildable balls, and more.
Charizard vs Jolteon Ultimate Battle
It includes two SMART Bricks, four Tags, two figures, a healing spray, a training station, and a charger. You can use the healing spray for support in the battle or have Pokémon jump into a friendly training session on the training ground.
