One such tiny house is the Glass tiny house by Wisconsin-based builder Escape Traveler. The Glass House, as it is officially called, features a 30-foot wall of glass windows, pouring the interior with tons of light and views.
The giant glazing isn’t the only way the builder ensures a flawless indoor-outdoor connection. The Glass tiny house also includes natural wood construction, a screened porch, and lots of mirrored surfaces to enhance natural light and the illusion of space.
Measuring 47 feet long and 12 feet wide, the Glass House is finished in cedar. The impressive configuration lets you arrange the entire home like a studio apartment rather than a quintessential micro-dwelling. The giant screened porch offers the liberty to enjoy al fresco lounging and dining even when the weather outside doesn’t permit it, all the while keeping the pesky bugs out. Pretty neat, huh?
The 30-foot wall of glass will have you sit and look out at the natural beauty, so there’s no need for a television. But should you want to watch something, the living area has a large section, a fireplace, and an oversized smart TV.
The adjoining kitchen has a modern, linear layout. It packs premium finishes, a dining area, abundant storage, and generous workspace. The space has an integrated cooktop, range hood, microwave, dishwasher, and refrigerator. Custom cabinetry adds more functionality, while keeping clutter at bay. A dining table sits next to the cooking area, offering sweeping outdoor views through the wall of windows.

Past the communal spaces is the sole bedroom of the Glass tiny house. The private king bedroom suite features a large closet, an en-suite bath, and a separate laundry hookup. The bathroom features a custom tiled shower, a toilet, and a vanity sink.
Every door in the bedroom is mirrored to bathe the space in natural light as if it were sitting out in the sun. This particular unit of the Glass House was built and located at Escape’s own Canoe Bay Village in Wisconsin, where it recently sold for US$227,400.
