The outlet reported that Sharon Osbourne filed documents on Tuesday with the High Court of Justice in England, a little over a year since the death of the so-called “Prince of Darkness.” Her niece Georgina Maszlin and assistant Melinda Varga are also requesting Newman’s removal.

The reason for the bid — and whether Newman is contesting it — is currently unknown.

Newman has been the couple’s accountant since before they married in 1982, originally meeting Sharon Osbourne while working as a junior accountant for her father, music manager Don Arden. He was also a director of Ozzy Osbourne’s firm, Monowise Ltd., for years before quitting in April, the Sun reported.

Ozzy Osbourne, a legendary heavy metal and reality television star, passed away on July 22, 2025.
