Prominent park model dealer RRC Athens has added another tiny home to its catalogue. Dubbed the Armstrong 2, the 1,365-square-foot park model tiny house measures 78 feet long and 17.6 feet wide. The extra length and width make it pretty evident that the home isn’t designed for regular towing and has to be stationed in one place.
The Armstrong 2 tiny house features a contemporary design with clean white vertical siding paired with high-contrast dark trim. As is evident in the pictures, it is currently elevated on concrete block piers and tie-downs, a setup standard for sales lots or mobile home communities before permanent skirting is installed. The architectural styling includes a distinct sloped roofline with small protective overhangs positioned above its windows and entryways.
Inside, the tiny house boasts an open-concept living area. It features light grey wood-look flooring and light grey walls that enhance the overall look of the house. Complementing the two is a vaulted ceiling equipped with a ceiling fan that keeps the interior cool and airy.
The living room features a large, navy blue sectional sofa that is paired with a patterned, rectangular ottoman. To the left, a smaller sitting area features a neutral-colored armchair with a matching ottoman, situated next to a slim white console table decorated with a wreath and books.
The Armstrong tiny house features an open-concept kitchen with a dining area and a central island being the two highlights of the space. The kitchen features off-white cabinetry and a dark-topped peninsula island equipped with a deep undermount sink, a gooseneck faucet, and black backless bar stools. Transitioning into the dining zone, light gray walls and wood-look flooring lead to a rectangular wooden dining table paired with four industrial black metal chairs.
A triple set of large windows with white horizontal blinds fills the entire space with natural light, highlighting simple decorative accents like a framed wall print and a potted plant centrepiece.
On the appliance front, the tiny house features a refrigerator, microwave, oven, and a dishwasher. The tiny house features two bedrooms, each sleeping a couple. Not much has been detailed about the space, but I expect each bedroom to incorporate a walk-in closet.
The Armstrong 2 tiny house features two bathrooms, each placed adjacent to the bedroom. One of the bathrooms features a glass-enclosed shower, vanity, storage cabinets, and a toilet, while the other swaps the shower for a bathtub.
Since it’s quite spacious and lengthy, even by park model standards, it would use direct, full-hookup connections to standard municipal or site utility pedestals, much like a regular house or an RV.
