A quartet of financial advisors with $1.4 billion under management has left Alliance Bernstein to join UBS’s private wealth management office in Los Angeles.
Advisors Pasha Azad, Dayne Crist, Steven Summerhays and Koby Dardashti affiliated with UBS late last month as Lumina Wealth Partners at UBS, leaving Bernstein Private Wealth Management, according to UBS press release.
The advisors are supported by senior wealth strategy associates Ryan Siroky and Lexie Kamran; Alex Day, senior registered client associate; and registered client associate Nick Horn.
Lumina Wealth works with entrepreneurs, founders, business owners, executives, artists, entertainers, professional athletes and multigenerational families, the release said.
The advisors’ “arrival comes at an exciting time for UBS in Los Angeles, as our new space brings together colleagues and capabilities from across the firm to help us address the increasingly complex needs of our clients,” Kate Daniels, senior market director for Los Angeles Private Wealth Management at UBS, said in a statement.
UBS said Lumina Wealth will be based in the firm’s new Los Angeles space in Century City, which brings together more than 225 employees across UBS Private Wealth Management, Wealth Management and the Investment Bank, including municipal traders and more than 20 consultants.
Azad has been advising entrepreneurs, founders, artists, entertainers and multigenerational families for more than 15 years and joined UBS as a managing director and private wealth advisor, according to the release.
Crist, managing director and private wealth advisor, is a former starting quarterback at the University of Notre Dame and now works with business owners, senior executives, athletes and entertainers.
Summerhays, financial advisor, also played sports as a professional hockey player and has more than a decade of experience working with high-net-worth families, athletes, business owners and executives, UBS said.
Financial advisor Dardasht, a Los Angelese native, also focuses on advising business owners, entrepreneurs, professional athletes and entertainers.
