Inspired by your brief, I’ve curated a selection of chaise longues that work with the bold, playful feel of your living room, while keeping your £600–£1,000 budget in mind.
I took inspiration from the rich colours and graphic pattern of the Graham & Brown Carnival Stitch Craze wallpaper, looking for pieces that would sit comfortably alongside the red sofa and green and cream check curtains. I’ve included a mix of more traditional silhouettes and contemporary designs, with different colours, fabrics and shapes to give you a few different directions to explore.
For a maximalist look with plenty of personality, I’d be tempted to embrace the colour and pattern rather than trying to make the chaise blend in. I’ve also looked for practical upholstery options where possible, knowing this piece may eventually become the cats’ favourite spot too!

Bouclé Chaise Module Sofia
I love the soft, rounded shape of this one, and the light bouclé would give the stronger colours in the room some breathing space. It would work particularly well with the cream in the curtains while keeping the overall look relaxed and contemporary.

The colour makes this feel much more like a statement piece, which I think could be really fun against the bold wallpaper. Its softer shape would balance the red sofa and let the pattern around it do the talking.

The pale blue upholstery would be such a lovely contrast against the red sofa and colourful wallpaper. It feels fresh and slightly unexpected, which I think would work really well for a playful maximalist scheme. The price is really good too!
