NewBold Technologies, a portfolio company of Fort Point Capital, has completed the acquisition of Spencer Technologies, a Medway, Massachusetts-based technology services provider to specialty and big-box retail, grocery, and QSR brands, for undisclosed terms.

NewBold Technologies is a technology managed services provider.

The combination creates one of the top technology services providers in North America, with a client base spanning enterprise accounts across the retail, restaurant, convenience store, and warehousing sectors.

David Strickler, CEO of Spencer, will remain with the business in a consulting capacity.

“Spencer is a natural extension of NewBold’s core Technology Managed Services practice, and we could not be more excited to welcome the talented Spencer team,” said Michael Duffy, principal at Fort Point Capital. “The combined business will offer clients a single partner for technology procurement, deployment, support, payment device management, and lifecycle planning.”
