PSG has made a growth investment in XBE, a Kansas City, Missouri-based business operations software provider for heavy materials, logistics and construction, for undisclosed terms.
XBE founder and CEO Sean Devine and Banneker Partners will each retain significant ownership positions and Devine will continue to lead the company.
“XBE’s founder-led, customer-driven approach is a major reason we chose to invest,” said Bill Skarinka, managing director at PSG.

Piper Sandler served as exclusive financial advisor to XBE and Banneker Partners, and Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP served as the company’s legal advisor. Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP served as legal counsel to PSG, and RBC Capital Markets, LLC served as its exclusive financial advisor.
