Two-Bedroom Ellice Tiny House has Dishwasher & Fireplace

We have gotten so accustomed to seeing park models that we forget that tiny houses on wheels are actually the ones that laid the foundation of the whole tiny house movement. While many tiny house manufacturers have pivoted from building mobile homes to park models, some have remained true to their roots and still build these micro dwellings on wheels. A case in point is the Alberta-based Teacup Tiny Homes, which has unveiled its latest creation, the Ellice tiny house on wheels.

Measuring 34 feet long, the Ellice tiny house comes mounted on a triple-axle trailer. It’s finished in dark vertical board-and-batten siding and outfitted with black windows that contrast nicely with the white finish on the interior walls. Access to the interior is gained via a semi-glass door that welcomes visitors straight into the dining zone, a rarity in homes of this size. The dining area comes with a bench and an adjustable table that can also double as a workspace when required.

To the left of the dining zone is the living room of the Ellice tiny house. Compact but functional, the living room features a sofa and a wardrobe. Some storage racks are positioned against the wall, so they function as a staircase that leads to the loft bedroom of the house. We’ll get to that bit later, but first focus on the other side of the Ellice tiny house.

To the right side is the kitchen of the tiny house. The kitchen is compact but functional. It is well-stocked with essentials ranging from cabinets and countertops to accessories and appliances. Some of the key appliances include a refrigerator, oven, three-burner propane stove, and a dishwasher.

Then is the bathroom, which includes a toilet, shower, vanity, and some storage space to house bathroom essentials. Moving on, the Ellice tiny house features two loft bedrooms. Similar to traditional tiny homes, each bedroom boasts a low ceiling and sleeps a couple. The secondary bedroom (one above the bathroom) can be used as a storage space if required. As is the case with most tiny homes of this size, the Ellice tiny house draws power via a standard RV-style hookup.
