Steal Kendall Jenner’s Grandma-Chic Decor Style for Just $39

You can teach perfection – which, in an era of AI-everything, is ubiquitous and, frankly, more than a little bit boring – but what you can’t really teach is its opposite: instinct. The lived-in quirks that have earned self-taught designer Heidi Caillier a certain soft spot with similarly collected celebrities like Kendall Jenner. Fortunately for those of us who can’t afford Heidi, intentional imperfection is also the idea behind her new lineup of 37 rugs and 27 pillows for Joon Loloi, following the success of last year’s debut.

A series of folky florals, cross-hatches, and Scandi-style grids, this decidedly autumnal collection shifts the season through the art of surprise: ‘mismatched’ patterns, unexpected tufted textures, old meeting new, where worn-in earthy tones wake up with splashes of sky blue, berry, and rose. ‘A rug should do something in a room. It should anchor it and maybe complicate it a little,’ says Heidi. ‘The color and pattern need to hold up against everything else you’ve put in the space, not just sit there.’
