PixelMug S1 Series of Smart Mugs is Bigger and Better; Know How

Your ordinary mug will stay the same forever, but the PixelMug S1 Series changes that by letting you change the look of its smart mugs whenever you want. It is a feature-rich upgrade to the original PixelMug P1, in terms of materials, capacity, and other modern features. Just like its predecessor, it lets you display pixel art, animated GIFs, retro game characters, pets, memes, moods, or your own creations to create a personal mug anytime.

The PixelMug S1 Series now includes a larger 350 ml capacity featuring a PC exterior and a stainless steel inner liner. The display size has also been increased to 6.21 inches, and new audio features have been added to enhance its overall functionality. Furthermore, the upgraded 1200mAh battery provides extended runtime compared to the earlier P1. Each mug comes with a dedicated charging dock that makes recharging effortless.

The S1 Series adds a built-in speaker that allows you to play music or relaxing white noise while you work, enjoy sound effects during games, and hear notification tones for reminders, countdowns, and other alerts. There is also a built-in microphone, allowing sound-reactive pixel visualizers to enhance the experience even more.

This smart mug does the basic task of temperature tracking and displaying pixel art neatly. You can also send text, pixel art, reminders, jokes, doodles, and animations to other PixelMugs worldwide, with support for paired interactions and multi-mug displays.

The Bubble app lets you connect and manage your PixelMug. You can personalize everyday settings like brightness, weather location, temperature units, 12/24-hour clock, auto screen-off time, and more. You can also shift the display function between a Pomodoro timer, a new game, a pixel pet, a visualizer, or a productivity tool over time.

Powered by the built-in pixel game engine, PixelMug S1 Series doubles as a mini game console. It supports touch controls, motion sensing, and sound interaction. It offers party games like Roulette, Dice Roller, and Slot machine as well as solo games like Pixel Maze, Pixel Pinball, Jumping Game, etc.

The S1 Series keeps the AI image generation feature but expands on it with an open SDK/Python support system, enabling customization and automation. It can now display real-time smart home updates, work notifications, live web metrics, and even custom games.

The PixelMug S1 Series of smart mugs is currently seeking funds through Kickstarter. There are two versions: Pro and Lite, both sharing the same fluid capacity and upgraded battery but differing in display quality, interactive features, and internal components. The Lite version can be pre-ordered for $69, and the Pro version bundle is listed for $119.
