Convey, an engagement software provider to utilities and regulated industries, announced the acquisition of Selectron, a provider of citizen engagement, field operations, inspection management and payment solutions for utilities, state and local governments.

Convey is a portfolio company of Energy Impact Partners and OceanSound Partners.

The deal brings together two companies with complementary strengths. Convey is an omnichannel communications and engagement operating system for utilities and regulated industries, while Selectron provides services for engagement, electronic billing, inspections and field operations.

The combined portfolio enables organizations to:
