Wynnchurch-backed Trimlite buys doormaker Barnett Millworks
- Trimlite supplies interior and exterior door slabs, pre-hung doors, door glass and doorlites, and other related products, sold through its network of wholesale distributors, dealers, and OEM customers.

Trimlite Equity, a distributor of residential door products and portfolio company of Wynnchurch Capital, announced the acquisition of Barnett Millworks, a family-owned distributor of residential door products.
The acquisition expands Trimlite’s geographic footprint into the Southeast market and strengthens its ability to serve customers across North America. Barnett’s complementary geographic footprint, customer relationships, and value-added capabilities are expected to enhance Trimlite’s platform.
Founded in 1945 and based in Theodore, Alabama, Barnett is a three-generation family-owned distributor of residential doors and millwork products.

The acquisition of Barnett represents Trimlite’s fourth acquisition since partnering with Wynnchurch and its second acquisition completed in 2026, following the acquisition of Harris Door and Millwork in March.
