ALDI’s $7 Silicone Liners Make Air Fryer Cleanup Easy
Air fryers have seen no end to their popularity, especially as more of us look for quicker, smarter ways to cook without juggling extensive cleanup. Alongside them, reusable liners have become one of the simplest upgrades, and ALDI’s latest launches are some of the most practical I’ve seen.
Like my favored PINTAUR Air Fryer Liners from Amazon, the ALDI Crofton Liners are made from non-toxic food-grade silicone to reduce the risk of contamination from ‘forever chemicals’. What really stands out, though, is their generous depth, which helps catch flying crumbs, spattering grease, and cooking juices for far easier cleanup after every meal.
Available in square, round, and flat variants, the liners are a seriously smart addition to the best non-toxic air fryers I have seen in a while. They’re a godsend for convenient cooking.
If there is one task I dread more than any other, it is cleaning a kitchen after dinner. By the time I have cooked and eaten, all I want to do is sink into the sofa and stay there until bedtime. So, anything that makes this a reality sits high on my list of small kitchen must-haves.
That said, I am loath to create unnecessary trash at home, so coating my air fryer baskets in foil or parchment paper is far from ideal, not to mention that they often move and cover food, which prevents crisping, and poses a fire risk.
Alas, liners are one of the few air fryer accessories I cannot live without, so I put up with subpar results for the sake of convenience. Even most silicone liners are not deep enough to protect from splatters, making scrubbing inevitable.
That is where the ALDI Crofton liners shine. The BPA-free food-safe basket inserts have high edges to keep mess contained − even pesky flying crumbs. The raised ridges help to separate food from accumulating grease while promoting air flow for crispy bases, too.
Better still, unlike most traditional non-stick air fryer baskets, the liners are entirely dishwasher safe, making cleaning as simple as tossing them on the shelf and pressing start. Fret not if you do not own a dishwasher, however. Silicone is non-stick, so all you need is some hot water and dish soap (I suggest the non-toxic Attitude dish soap from Walmart).
What Else to Shop
I’ve relied on my air fryer for years, whether I’m making breakfast, lunch, or dinner. As a self-confessed lazy chef, I’ve also learned how to use it to minimize cleanup and maintenance. From non-toxic accessories to essential care tools, these are the air fryer essentials I recommend for streamlining your everyday cooking routine.

Ivy Bronx Glass Oil Sprayer Bottle
Traditional aerosol oils contain additives to keep them thin enough to spray into cookware, however these additives can erode delicate coatings. These refillable oil spray bottles can be used with standard vegetable oil, making air fryer cooking convenient without the added chemicals.
Bella 6-Piece Modular Tool Set
Silicone tools have become my go-to, being easier to maintain than wood, and safe for all cookware. This Bella set features everything you need from flipping to stirring, and come in a compact crock for easy counter storage.
Dish Sponge Cloths – Everspring™
Sponge cloths are plant-based, meaning they are free from plastics and decompose in compost heaps in around 10 months, making them a eco-friendly, hygienic alternative to traditional sponges and paper towels.
Attitude Dishwashing Liquid, Unscented
Approved by the Environmental Working Group as non-toxic, this gentle dish soap is perfect for caring for delicate pans without the risk of toxic residue.
Just because you use liners does not mean you should never wash the baskets. This is one of the many air fryer cleaning mistakes that may reduce the life of your appliance.
