Joanna Gaines’ Greenhouse Doubles as a Dining Nook

At a glance, Joanna Gaines‘s glasshouse looks entirely conventional. Set on her farm in Waco, Texas, the vintage structure comprises brick flooring, climbing greenery framing the ironwork, and terra-cotta pots alongside her chickens. However, with the addition of a wooden table, the designer has tapped into a trend that I’ve increasingly observed among celebrities: She’s created a space for entertaining.

Most greenhouses are treated as purely utilitarian outposts – dedicated strictly to planting and growing. However, just as David and Victoria Beckham did on their Cotswolds estate, Joanna turned her space into an extension of her dining room. As a result, we’re rethinking how we use our own garden spaces.
