AEA Enterprise-backed Meritus acquires industrial gases distributor Metroplex Welding Supply

Meritus Gas Partners, a portfolio company of AEA Enterprise, has acquired Metroplex Welding Supply, a Dallas-based distributor of industrial gases and welding supplies. No financial terms were disclosed.
Headquartered in New York City, Meritus is a network of distributors of industrial, medical, and specialty gases and welding and safety supplies.
Metroplex has five locations serving customers throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area.
